Allison Raskin Bio

Allison Beth Raskin, an American mental health advocate as well as a comedian-writer on YouTube, is a journalist. She was previously an editor at BuzzFeed Video but left in 2015 with fellow writer and acquaintance Gabe Dunn to pursue work on their comedy YouTube channel Just Between Us. Raskin was born in Manhattan on 20 June 1989 to an Jewish parent and a father, was raised with her grandparents. She was a student at the University of Southern California, where she earned a bachelor's degree in fine arts. Jamin B. Raskin (born on 13 December 1964) is a U.S. attorney, professor of law and politician. She is Maryland's representative in the eight congressional district in the capacity of U.S. representatives since 2017. Chief prosecutor for Trump's Second Impeachment Trial was a law school professor. Rep. Jamie Raskin has made the decision not to contest Maryland's open Senate seat and instead will seek reelection to the House which he plans to be the chairman of the House Oversight and Accountability Committee. The 8th District is close to Washington, D.C., including some of its wealthiest suburbs, such as Bethesda, Chevy Chase, and Potomac.
