Jenna-Louise Coleman (born in London) is the name of a British popular actor. Her best-known work is her role as Clara Oswald as Clara Oswald from the Doctor Who television series. As a child she started acting in the Yer Space theatre, and was part of Crystal Clear, a play at the Edinburgh Festival. The play received acclaim and Coleman was awarded an award for her performance. Coleman was given her first major break when she landed the part as Jasmine Thomas in the soap show Emmerdale during 2005. The actress continued to appear in the series until it's end in 2009. In 2006, she was nominated for an award at the National Television Awards as Most Popular Newcomer. Coleman began her career in the film industry in 2011 when she played Connie as she appeared as she appeared in Captain America: The First Avenger. The best chance for Coleman to showcase her versatility as an actor was in the year 2016, when the ITV show Victoria provided her with the role of the erstwhile British Monarch, Queen Victoria. Coleman's acting career has progressed from the role of Lindsay James, a young schoolgirl on the BBC series Waterloo Road, to portraying an empress on the show Victoria.
